Let’s talk about race.

At the national level, George Floyd’s death sparked a powerful movement that was felt from coast to coast. In California, communities urged lawmakers to address systemic racism in our state and called for comprehensive police reform. What is institutionalized racism and where can it be found? What can be done to eliminate it?

Even in a virtual environment. We HAVE to speak up.

New for 2020, teachers and students across California will be able to access our Virtual Town Hall Meetings and participate in our online Q&A panel discussions via Zoom Webinars. Our Virtual Town Hall Meetings will give students the chance to discuss important policy issues with keynote speakers and will feature LegiSchool Civics Institute Alumni as our panel moderators.
