We invite all current 11th and 12th graders to participate in our annual LegiSchool Essay Contest! Submit your essay by November 20th at 11:59 pm.

The year 2020 brought a lot of uncertainty, change and gave us new perspectives on how we live our daily lives. What are your thoughts on how California responded to different crises this year? Did 2020 change your priorities in state issues? What policies do you think are the most beneficial to California and why? Did 2020 change your opinion on certain policy areas? If so, which ones?

Selected winners will be chosen to participate in the Virtual Legislative Summit on January 27, 2021. Winners will be able to share their thoughts and ideas with California policymakers in a comprehensive and unique virtual gathering. Winners will receive special recognition from their state representative.
