LegiSchool received a record number of entries for the 2020 Essay Contest and we would like to thank all of the students for submitting such thoughtful papers that highlighted their thoughts on California’s policies in 2020. All students shared powerful thoughts and ideas about a wide-array of issues such as COVID-19, homelessness, wildfires, education, immigration, agriculture and much more. Now more than ever, we look to young people and learn from them.
LegiSchool is happy to announce the 15 winners of the LegiSchool Essay Contest. Selected winners will participate in the Virtual Legislative Summit on January 27th, where they will be able to share their thoughts and ideas with California policymakers. Congratulations!
